From their earlier albums, I like "Country Life" the best. But overall, "Avalon" is my favorite.

i <3 Out of the blue from that album.

Well documented that things changed when Eno left
'sigh'
I still have Eno albums to listen to.

I find their later stuff more cheesy but I cant resist Mr Ferry.

I thought "Flesh and Blood" had a high cheese quotient, but I still like it, lol.

My favorite Ferry albums are the ones from the 70s, especially "The Bride Stripped Bare" and "In Your Mind." I don't care much for the later ones.

I like it, as well as Manifesto, and Stranded too.

Avalon is just gorgeous, and Flesh and blood has good stuff too.

I have all the albums, but those four tend to be my faves.

My favorite: Siren! "Love is the Drug" is the classic, of course, and "Both Ends Burning" takes off like the Concorde and doesn't slow down 'til the end. For much of the album, no single instrument stands out -- it's just layers of guitars, synth, organ, congas, sax, violin and lord knows what else. It's like listening to wave after wave of sonic texture. Methinks it's flawless from start to finish. And really effin' kewl.

I LOVE Out of The Blue. Amazing.

Both Ends Burning is probably my favourite song. I don't have any albums besides compilations, though. And I really like The Thrill of It All and Editions of You, too.

Me likes "Bête Noire", perhaps Ferry's most rhythmically complex work. Lotsa great hooks, too... "Seven Deadly Sins"... yum!

I just bought Flesh + Blood and like way much. Same Old Scene has been one of my all time favorite songs for a long time and I found it funny to see that Paul Carrack played keys on the album. Avalon was played frequently in my house growing up (so I grew up loving it), but it's not until recently that I've dug further back. I bought Roxy Music's first two albums last week and am diving into them; good, but different-like our experience with early and later Japan. As far as Ferry goes, I like Mamouna a lot. What lovely croonage.

Isn't is amazing how many different projects Paul Carrack has been involved with in his career?
