Send a (virtual) postcard to free Aung San Suu Kyi

Postby inkinthewell on Sat Aug 22, 2009 8:30 am

Amnesty International is trying to send 10.000 postcards to the Thai government to make them, hopefully, release Aung San Suu Kyi and other political prisoners in Myanmar. All you have to do is click on the link below, insert your name, address, etc., and click on the Take Action button.

It is the Burmese government. Not Thailand. Myanmar as it is now.

These are the exact words on the Amnesty International page:
"Tell ASEAN to match words with actions
Help us send 10,000 postcards to the Thai government by September 1st to urge them to call for the release of Aung San Suu Kyi and thousands of other political prisoners in Myanmar."

Anyway, Thai seems to be a language and an ethnic group. So there. :smt019
Now take action. :D
