does anyone remember

the singer Nik Kershaw? I know he only had one hit in the usa "wouldn't it be good". And one of the most creative videos of that era in the 80s. His body was like a tv airing all sorts of things... by the end the destruction on the tv destroys him.
I just found one of his newer effort on iTunes. It is actually quite good.

he has a new one coming out this summer....

just found some photos of him recently... it is soooooo weird to see people you adored in the 80s and how much they age. He still looks great but dang there is GREY hair. LOL.... Its like how shocked i was when I saw david again after all the years. Bizarre when i don't feel i've aged at all (except i have more trouble getting up after sitting on the floor) HA HA....
As Simon le Bon says "WWHHOOSSHH!"

I used to love Nik's The Riddle album as well as his "Human Racing". He had such a great voice. Glad to hear that he is still making music. I wil have to check out the new stuff. Thanks for the "heads up". 8)

It's curious...I listened to 'Wouldn't it be good' some time this week. It's a good pop song. Though I don't know any of his albums.
Good that he still makes music. Have to check it out.

Girl, I only LOVED him back when I was a senior in high school--I had his Human Racing album and the songs on it were going through my head the week I took finals and had graduation!!!! My best friend and I thought he was too cute!!!! I think he reminded us of Nick Rhodes with the hair, etc at the time (I think we loved ANYONE who looked like Nick...lol!!)

I really love his work----I especially still love Human Racing and The Riddle albums. Bought a two cd best of last year online----great thing to have if you want to hear the old and the new stuff.......

I just remembered this too---he played on Elton John's album Ice on Fire, particularly on the song "Nikita"---he played guitar.

Yep, I remember him. In fact a few months ago I pulled out The Riddle and listened to it. A bit of nostalgia taking over. Cool voice, and yes I did think he was quite fetching back in the day.

Good to hear he's still out there recording. I'll have to check out the iTunes stuff when I get home. Stupid bleedin' web(non)sense!

yep,
he was tiny (only 1 foot tall) which his why he had the hair, to make him look taller.

Now ..'The Riddle' wasnt there something genuinely mysterious to work out ?
