Going anywhere nice this year?

I'm heading to Australia and New Zealand at the end of the year for a month...can't wait!

I already went to the UK for the Duran gigs. All my hols are for concerts I am afraid :lol:

Next one is a day trip to see No-Man in Holland, then to Barcelona to see Presuntos Implicados, then London to see Kenneth Branagh on stage and then Holland again for Porcupine Tree. If I can squeeze a trip with my parents somewhere... maybe it will be Italy :-D

Hoping to get up to New England (Cape Ann) for a few days this October. Otherwise I will just slowly go mad at home. LOL

Are you by any chance a hairdresser by profession?

I'm not going anywhere, but I'm sure you'll have a treat. We used to live in NZ when I was very small and, although I remember virtually nothing of it, my mum and dad are always telling me what a fantastic country it is.

What a coincidence, such a useful thread - after catching up here and at PTF I am getting in the car to go and stay with my parents who are taking me to the airport early in the morning, for tomorrow I set off for Italy!

It's to attend an intensive university course in Italian but I'm hoping for a little free time as well...

Apparently they have wireless connectivity in the halls - if they don't I'm going to ask for my money back :wink:

so I will hopefully be here soon!

Sis (or anyone else) if you end up in Italy, let me know!

Off to Nag's Head, North Carolina next week for a week on the beach with extended family. Always a great time! :-)

Oh yes, sunscreen is a must! That, and a good cold beer...! Man, I can't wait!

We were actually there a few years ago when a category 1 hurricane came ashore just to the south of us...we spent the day drinking beer in the hot tub...obviously not the safest thing to do, but it was very memorable! :-)

tee hee... well that does happen when you vacation in the south in summer time.... but i'll take sitting in a hot tub with beer anyday :-)

Been to Morocco for two weeks a few weeks ago. Beautiful country - visit if you can...
October I'm taking my dad to New-York and Washington (SASM) for a week.
Concerts: No-Man in september in Zoetermeer, Fear Falls Burning/Bass Communion in November in Antwerp, and Marillion in November in Heerhugowaard.
