Echolyn at Metuchen, NJ - the NJ proghouse gig sold out to packed house of 30. An emotionally intimate show and great set.

Paul McCartney - Foxboro - the Old Pats stadium, also sold out for the Flowers in the Dirt tour - I think the last with Linda - incredible!

Peter Gabriel
- MSG, NY for the Up tour. Amazing and such an honour to see that man perform.

PTree - Masquerade in Tampa, FL for the Deadwing tour. A complete out of body experience - it's gotta count for something.

ProgFest 94 - LA. My first big shoot, meeting great new friends and discovering a community I belonged to. Often termed the 'weekend of my life'. Tho this past NearFest in PA 2008 comes awfully close.

Porcupine Tree - First time in 05 in Minneapolis was amazing, then saw them at Park West in Chicago later that year. After that show on the drive home I realized just how amazing the band was and fell in love with their music on a completely new level.

Mono 2006, I had never seen them or heard any of there music before, and when I saw them I was absolutely blown away. I've never heard music fill a room so perfectly.

Live 1999, One of my first concerts. They were my favorite band at the time, and that show still was one of the best I've ever attended. There was so much energy and power in the music that night that it's still hard listening to their music because it just doesn't live up to that show.

Rush 2007, Saw them with Kera in St.Paul, and it was the best I've ever seen the boys.

I haven't seen many live :smt009
I went to
1998 Fuji Rock Festival in Tokyo - almost forget, I just remember that Ian Brown wore nice hat and the island was shaking to musics.
2000 Culture Club - amazing! George had more brilliant voice than album.
2005 Hall and Oates - have fun!
Maxim (piano solo) - I was sleepy in the middle, but encore was fantastic!
2006 summer sonic festival - the high light was Daft Punk - it was something
2007 Phoenix - beyond expression :smt041

If I knew, I went to David and Steve's live ... (sigh)
whatever gets you through the night

and I forgot John Cale last year...
the first five songs of the show was the strongest opening of a concert ever.

I don't even need a full five-fingered hand to count all the shows I've been to... and most of those were artists I'd rather not admit to seeing live. My favorites never seem to play anywhere close to here so most shows I go to are things my friends are interested it. But...

2008 Streetlight Manifesto

I'm not expecting anyone else to know of them, but that show was incredible.

The Talking Heads' show was actually 1984 and it was the Speaking in Tongues tour, not Remain in Light. Great nonetheless.
