Nick Rhodes Lawyers???

Seriously, is it worth buying? Did you enjoy it and/or glean any new info from it? Does it put a new perspective on the DD story? Just wondering as I might purchase it ... X ;-)

I have to be honest. It really took some of the fantasy out of the band for me. It became real ... like making the guys into real people more than just these fantasy type characters the media created. Yeah, I have to say I learned a lot about andy and his personality got some insight into the group but i wouldn't buy it if you're looking for tattle telling tales about the other boys. There are a few stories but he is very good about not disrespecting any of them. I don't know... he was honest and rather upfront. The guys really don't need to worry he released anything that was a secret. We all already knew about the drug and alcohol issues many of them had. What i thought was so funny was how he describes simon and its so funny because it is how we as long time fans describe him... it is always "well, Simon is ..... well he's Simon" LOL I know me and my fellow friends have always said simon is in his own little land and loves life etc. That is exactly how andy describes him. He said he respects each and everyone of them. I will say one good thing this book gave me. It gave me the ability to know it is ok for me to finally get rid of my DD memorabilia collection without feeling badly. So I'm going to be posting things i'm selling on ebay very soon. I have calenders, t shirts, books and the limited edition magazines. I'm keeping very few items....
In the end it was very cleansing for me to read it and i'm sure it was very cleansing for him to write it.

Just finished "The ground beneath her feet" by Salman Rushdie. It's ok, but not his best novel.
One of the minor characters is called Eno Barber and is described as "the techno gandalf", "the undisputed king of the loop, the czar of texture, King Ear", and I like to think he's half Brian Eno and half Richard Barbieri (even though, physically, he's 100% Huggy Bear from 'Starsky & Hutch'!).
