I LOVE THE COCTEAU TWINS!

Postby Bap De La Bap on Thu Nov 29, 2007 4:57 am

They are amazing, so far I have

Garlands, Treasure,Head over heels, Heaven or las vegas, Milk & Kisses
and the BBC sessions.

Theres no way to choose a fave' as all these albums are wicked in their own way.

Any fans?

Yes, I love Liz Fraser's voice!

Another release of theirs that is one of my favorites is Four-Calendar Cafe - although many people don't rate it as high as other CT albums. It's probably their most straight ahead release, and Liz's lyrics are more understandable than on any other album - for me that's one of the reasons I like it so much.

Blue Bell Knoll is also a good one!

Cocteau Twins are one of my favorite bands. Pretty much the whole early 4AD scene rocks.

Are you kidding? I am obsessed with them now!

I love "Millimillenary", "Blood Bitch", "Garlands", "Musette And Drums"

I love Liz's voice, she totally out-does her contemporaries by a longshot!

I thought nobody would ever bring them up! :D

Yeh, big fan here. Only saw them play live once, in Sheffield. Goes down as one of the most intense gigs I have ever been to.

Liz has a solo album in the works........allegedly

Never quite got the Cocteau Twins, I'm afraid. Although I love Liz Fraser's voice and This Mortal Coil's "Song to the Siren" is one of my favourite songs ever.
