sick, sick, sick...

this is crazy, lately there's been a flu/ cold / virus going around in schools almost the entire month, there's been around 181 school abscents & around 15 or more school check outs due to the situation ....then too a couple of teachers & secretary had to call off due to matter , a couple of days ago, my sis & i had a discussion about it & i told her that, "i'm surprised i didn't catch it" & knocked on wood, she told me, "alright, don't speak too soon !"....then all of a sudden, i felt a little last night, my stomach & head started hurting, begin having body pains & felt a little nauses, apparently, i did speak too soon, lol......

I can offer you a tip on how to rid yourself of a cold/flu virus from my Irish heritage, all you need is a bottle of whiskey and a hat, you got to bed and put the hat at the bottom of the bed and drink enough of the whiskey that you think the hat is moving around, at this point go to sleep and you will wake up fine...honest!

Tan- I really hope your illness goes away in time for Christmas. I have been sick over every Christmas vacation since the second grade. Chicken Pox, the Flu... All of that!! It isn't a thing I would wish on anyone!! Er... Most people...

If you're looking for a quick fix while your sick... Try some of this crap called "thera flu" it's the worst tasting stuff you'll ever put in your mouth... But I swear it really really works!!!

Thanks for the great tips & get well wishes everyone , i thought i would've gotten better over the weekend, but due to the dry heat, my sinuses started acting up, my head neck & head started hurting last night , i had to call in this morning

I never got the chicken pox! And I hear that the vaccination really doesn't do any good if you're over twelve, ehh.

Thankfully i havn't been plagued with ill health recently...i can't really understand why as my immune system is rubbish!

But it's annoying, however, when other people round me get ill. Especially when exam deadlines are looming ever so closely around the corner.

I was meant to be taking my Drama & Theatre Studies exam the week before school closed for christmas. No such luck. Since practicing for our play about a month ago, at least every person in my group of 5 has been ill at least twice with a severe cold or general flu. I've only just managed to evade the sickness by stocking on on good old vitamin C and other necessities.

My friend Carly was so violently struck down with a bad cold that her doctor put her on a tonne of antibiotics for 2 weeks. Thus meaning our exam has been put back until January the 9th.

it does mean we get more time to rehearse though.
