Zaine Griff, who worked on Takahashi's album What Me Worry, pays tribute to Takahashi and his Y.M.O.-colleague Ryuichi Sakamoto on his new album A Double Life. The CD, made with Gary Newman/Visage-keyboard-player Chris Payne concains covers of Y.M.O. (You've Got To Help Yourself) and This Strange Obsession, the track Griff wrote for Takahashi's album. Other covers are Newman's Cars and Bowie's Blue Jean. Griff also re-visits the track Flowers from his LP Figures. The original version had Kate Bush on it and her vocals are one of the few things that are kept from that original.

Here's a nice interview with Griff and Payne: https://www.electricityclub.co.uk/zaine ... interview/

The CD can be bought from https://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/SICX-30190
