We just had two solid days of rain here in NC as well, but we are actually behind in rainfall for the year so no big deal. I sure wish the areas that need it would get some and help keep these forest fires under some control....................

yes it is a scarey reality...shame our government officials don't agree. Why on earth should they care... they are older and will be dead before the earth implodes on us.

Has anyone seen War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise? Ok granted most don't like him, but the movie is fricken TERRIFYING!!!!

That's what bugs me, well infuriates me actually, about The Powers That Be - they just dont seem to see the long-term picture. All they seem to care about is getting re-elected in the short term and how much glory they can bask in.

And yes TWOTW IS very scary indeed!
