Are there really lovers on Main St.?

Postby sexandpolitics on Sun Aug 06, 2006 1:39 am

It is common knowledge that if you understand Japan, then you know a passion that defines obscurity. Embarking upon this opportunity to meet other new wave completists has left me in an ecstatic state of shock. I raise my glass to Kera!!!

Description: Morgen, 17, Female, WA, U.S.

I have never experienced a sound or emotion more pure and decadent than the work of Japan. Someone on this website previously commented on the amount of "emotional honesty" in Sylvian's work-couldn't agree more!

Well I must admit, that if sex could be converted into sound waves, then it would be the work of the fretless bass. End of story... (As of late, I've given my bass up for adoption. :( This is due to a very, very, very unfortunate event.)

MY GOAL: to bring 'it' back by starting a band that picks up where Japan left off. The members of this band would, however, have to be extremely attractive. This way my life-style of being a total recluse would finally be validated due to the incessant flash of the camera.

Otherwise, I just want to start an attractive, intelligent band that picks up where Japan left off.

It warms my heart to see that you understand. -Morgen

Morgen-

Excellent idea! Give me about a year and I may be attractive enough to be in your band!

It is up to us to bring back the sweet, sweet sounds of the 80's!

;-)

I have wanted to start the same sort of band for ages! I don't think I meet the attractive requirement, however. I've always wanted to play synths/keyboards for a band, whee.
