Yeah.. I know everyone here was pretty much in the dark about how New Orleans was still doing now. I'm glad to know that you weren't badly affected, sheisnot!

The Garden District - isnt that the absolutely gorgeous part of the city with big houses and lush gardens?
What really shocked me about the Katrina tragedy was the thought that an entire city might actually not exist any more - it sounds like it's still hanging on by a thread. I visited N.O. 16 years ago and fell in love with it and the thought that its days may be numbered if another hurricane hits is just too awful to contemplate.
Im pleased you werent affected though and pray that the city rises again eventually.
