Ladies please, if Richard were available you would need to appeal to his creative side. May i suggest purchasing a Roland V-synth for starters (if you dont know what to do with it i would always take it off your hands for a knock down price of course)

Why to fend off the competition of course, but you needn't fear my little aquatic friend, you're quite safe, you're my PT mentor afterall

As for you OB8 ... tut tut - I don't know, there's always someone willing to take advantage :smt110 :-D

I'm off into town tomorrow and maybe Manchester next week, so you never know. Time is the issue with me at the moment though as I'm off on holiday in just over two weeks and have loads I need to do.

I have however an update re. PT. I've been trawling through You Tube playing various tracks on my laptop and thinking "I quite like that/don't mind that/really not sure about that" when my daughter walks past and says "who's that", so I explain and she listens with me for a while and then says "they're quite good actually" - which coming from her, teenage angst and all that, is a very positive sign - may have another convert there fishie

Oh another thing, what are your thoughts on his two solo works?

Manchester eh...? Hmmm...

The two solo albums are EXCELLENT - although I may be biased of course!!! Seriously, I would get them...

There's also that shop on Church Street in Preston, isn't there - is it Action Records?

I also lurve Townsend Records - used to go to the one in Chorley back in the day.

Of course, it depends on whether you prefer old-fashioned record shopping or not. PT have their own online shop, Burning Shed, as well.

I do a bit of both really but I have to say that you'll never be able to beat a good old root in a record shop. There used to be a brilliant one in Preston in the 70's/80's, a real falling down old place and I spent hours in there, you never knew what little gems you'd find, but ...... sadly long gone.

Cheers - I'll put time aside next week and have a rummage somewhere

I hope you enjoy posting on here?

PS: Would you happen to be the same Caroline mentioned on 2 of Mr. Sylvian's songs?! :-D
