Just signed up to the forum....been reading it for weeks and could not resist sharing my thoughts about David and how much his music has meant to me over the years. I had the pleasure of meeting David after his show during the Slowfire tour in Washington DC. My friends and I waited out behind the venue and he came out w Richard Chadwick. I was surprised more fans weren't there, as the place had been packed. Nevertheless, I was spellbound and really had a hard time choking out words. I don't normally engage in idol worship, but to me, David really is the closest thing to a "holy" man I've ever met. It was an honor and unforgettable experience. He also generously signed my program.
