I bought a couple of old smash hits last year with DD in them from a shop just off Byres Road in Glasgow for about a £1 each, brought back great memories. We used to love getting the lyrics to the songs in the charts and reading all the latest goss on our favourite groups. It was a must have mag at the time.
Absolutely Caroline! I have a particularly vivid memory of sitting in a really boring R.E lesson (religious education - do they still do that? It was always so dull...) and in the back row directly behind me 2 girls had the latest copy of Smash Hits and were busy singing 'Second That Emotion" (very badly as I recall)
