Visions Of China - Extended Version

I finally got to hear this version over the weekend. It is about a minute longer than the Tin Drum version, starts with the drum solo, has several alt. edits but no (to my ears) additional instrumentation.
www.nightporter.co.uk has a full list of all the different versions of each Japan song, think I almost have them all now. :lol:

well i turned up at a mate's house with my USB key and had a look at the music on his computer and this kind of jumped out at me, there was no album title listed iirc but i believe it was released on a couple of obscure compilation albums. it wasn't a transfer from vinyl (the quality is pristine) so it must be either from CD (my mate inherited a huge amount of music from his older brother) or internet download.
the ending is different aswell, v.weird listening to it after hearing the shorter version for all these years.
