It has to be said !

Spent a lot of time listening to lots of Japan again since Mick's passing ~ really wanted to touch base with those fantastic bass lines again. (and probably the feeling of my youth) .

i feel privilaged that i seen Mick with Japan back in 82 in Edinburgh, great memories.

But i really feel that "it has to be said" that no piece of work any of the 4 guys have done since comes close to the Magic that was Japan ! i know there was never chance they would get back together and i didnt yearn for it either.

But RIP Mick. . . .

I disagree Stoobie. I think all 4 at times, have produced work equally as good.
But, as Rain Tree Crow showed, when those 4 got together, something magical happened.
Such a shame for ALL concerned, that they couldnt hold it together.

Got to agree with Despair on this one, Stoobie I think you may be listening to Japan more romantically and in nostalgia for the 80's than in musical appreciation much the same as I do (still remember me and my mate staring at each other in awe the first time we saw Mick "ghost" across the stage
