That's Alan Partridge - excellent spoof comedy character over here - will have you cringing but laughing too! You should check him out!

That clip is fantastic - looks like it was some sort of documentary thingy? I hope someone makes a longer more indepth Japan docu sometime...

Yeah, to me his drawl sounds really deliberate, like he's taking his time to pick the perfect word, maybe.

Wow is this a small world or what. I uploaded that video to youtube and just found this site via the "theartofparties" group on LiveJournal.

Anyhow living in Canada means I rarely got to see any interviews or commentaries on this band, so I was glad when I found that vid!
