Hee! Hee! Yeah, but he doesn't sound like that anymore. It seems the "Sarf" London accent has diminished over the years and his voice is deeper too. Check it out on this YouTube post:

In Mick's book he talks about getting taken to the Blitz (against his will apparently) & Boy George, the coat check, certainly left an impression on him
though it seems not to have been a good one
