I am not really too into having stuff, I am very transient, and have pretty much gone digital, and am very happy with that. Once upon a time I had some very cool Japanese magazines from the late 70s/early 80s with tons of pics of Japan. Had a great photobook called YMOmiyage (I think) with tons of pictures of YMO, some of Japan. I had all the Japan albums on vinyl, and a lot of those maxi-singles, the 12 inch ones, and Sakamoto/YMO/Ippu-do vinyl as well. That stuff got lost around 1986. I still had some of the vinyl, and I gave it to my brother, who has recently gotten back into vinyl.
The two things I have now that I will hold on to, for personal reasons, are the World is Everything tour book, which is just a gorgeous piece of art, and Steve's DVD, since I was there, and can even see myself in the end credits! But these are both about two very special memories of my time living in Japan, so kind of where my life, and theirs, I guess, intersected.
