It turns out the demo i have been given isnt the first.

It does appear on nightporter but isnt the demo EP that appears on nightporters main page. The person thats sharing it hints to the earlier demo mentioned on nightporter. I am currently PMing him to get a share to it, i await to see if A he has it and B if he will share it. Anybody wanting the studio demo i have should PM me.

Okay...I found the files for 1977 Studio Demo that I downloaded onto my hard drive last night but I can't find the website that I downloaded them from. I'm not sure if it's something you guys would be interested in me posting the songs here or if it's something you hardcore Japan fans already have

BTW, the quality is poor but man...being a true Japan fan, I really am excited about finding this!!!! *WooooHooo*

Hmm... I was really excited about finding these rare gems from 1977 too! But I don't think they are the songs from this tape found on Nightporter.co.uk... I think that tape only has 6 songs and only a few people have it... I hope I can hear those songs some day!

The tape with the songs cheery cherry listed was on brokensky site a couple of years ago - that's where I got them from; perhaps they are still in the archives there? *don't know if that's the info from the other thread or not*

I just happened to see this thread and guess what - I do believe I have that tape too. Containing Momentoes of your love, Diamonds, Lovers on main street, Party Rhythm, in fact 11 tracks. Is that it?

It is not that interesting, I think. Funny to hear, but something I very rarely listens to. And David's voice improved very much from this to adolescent sex.

Is there any plans about it being released officially?
