Omigod--that was REALLY difficult to decide---seriously---for me it was anyway. I really think despite all the hair colors and bizarre looks that he is really really handsome and looks really good now as well so that was hard to pick just one period.

But, I had to go with the late Mick because I love him in Oil on Canvas---the short hair is just so sophisticated. Then you look at the pic with the long hair and it is just sooo black and shiny you just want to reach out and touch it.

Ha, what do you mean...'HAS BECOME' obsessed? It's been like this for the last 25 years mate...*snigger*..

Anyway, I have to say I cant decide myself as I've always thought Mick is absolutely gorgeous, however bizarre he's looked..

But if pushed I'd probably go for late (GTP/Tin Drum) Mick because of the more sophisticated slicked back hair and those sharp suits...*swoon*

But you do want to run your fingers through that long present day hair...mmmmm.

I have to go with Mick circa '82, it's how I'll always see him!
It was odd talking to him with eyebrows! I was a little distracted in fact!
Still, at least he didn't let them grow back into a "unibrow"! ;-)

I had to go with late Mick because he looks so sophisticated, but it was close between that and middle Mick! I do love the pink-tipped hair.

Middle Mick! He's just too cute! And I always thought the longer blonde hair looked very good on him.

There arent many of us who look good without eyebrows but Mick is one of them - it helps having massive brown eyes I guess...

Moody, where did you meet him? And what did you talk about? (I am so very very jealous... :D )

I met him during the last Bamboo party in London, I can't remember what we talked about in detail but I do remember that he really liked the "Eye of Horus" badge I was wearing on my lapel.
I also got to talk with Rich and Steve that night after the No-Man gig at the Marquee.
If anyone knows of a bootleg from that show please let me know!

A really fun night, but sad since the "Music For Moods " parties were coming to an end :-(

There used to be a Japan fanzine called "Bamboo", they used to have a party in London every year (most of them at the 100 club in Oxford St.) called "Music for Moods".
They were a lot of fun, they often would show rare videos and such and we'd all dance to out favourite Japan numbers.
At one of them Rob Dean came along to play with a yet unknown singer by the name of Sinead O'Conner! As I recall she sang "All Tomorrows Parties", "Anarchy Gordon" and a gorgeous rendition of Patsy Cline's "I Fall To Pieces".
