Just saw an interesting new post on the Mick Karn-forum about a Mick Karn-tribute by Metronomy on their new album Summer 08: http://mickkarn.proboards.com/thread/13 ... ollTo=1281

Here's the song Mick Slow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tGS_5pjYlI

Funny to see that http://mickkarn.net/ mentions the following:

Mick’s bass from 'Weather the Windmill’ features as a sample in the song ‘Aftershock’ by Pouya on his new album ‘Five Five’ released 05.03.18

Apparently Mick wrote and played a bass-pattern that inspires more people.

I wonder if there are more songs which features a sample of music originally played by the Japan-members.
