Stephenf wrote:I'm somewhat surprised that Midge Ure hasn't said anything via his webpage regards the passing of Mick.
Does anyone have any information as to why?

Midge did post several comments on Twitter including a link to a photo of him and Mick in Egypt when they made the video for "After A Fashion". I think Midge was having a very hard time taking the news in about Mick's passing.

Still coming to terms with Micks passing here. Strange emotions all round really. Good obituary in the Guardian yesterday.

Just reading the stream of messages on here about Mick. A humble man he would have been very, very touched.

Watching the sun rise over the frozen lake here in Canada. Too many things zooming round my jet lagged head, both good and sad.

I guess sword of destiny and I were cross-posting this morning. Thanks for that. Retracting my post....

(What I wrote was not meant to be a rip on you, stephenf, just an observation.)

I have been totally out of the loop. I have just found out about this a few days ago. I was holding out hope that Mick would beat this. I am heartbroken. My condolences to his family, my fellow fans here that adored him, and to all of his friends that matter. I pray for the ones that now have to live on without him.

and by the way, I absolutely believe that everything that John Taylor said is spot on!!! What an amazing man Mick Karn was. But guess what people----he lives on in all of us!!! Let's make him proud by being the best we can be in all we do.

How quickly time goes by. (can it really be a year!)

Always remembering and never forgetting.

My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

He's truly missed by all.

I was suprised that Simon Napier bell made no mention of it on his site...

And still no Dali's Car!
