I'm on knees...
Couldn't believe it when I learned it...
I always keep a hope for him... anyway he'll stay in our heart...

It's indeed the saddest day. I can hardly type these words, my hands are shaking so much. I was listening to "Quiet Life" this afternoon while checking my emails, read the news about Gerry Rafferty and left a little message on youtube. Then I went to the Bowie forum and someone mentioned Mick... No, it can't be right, I couldn't believe what I was reading and turned to this forum immediately. I didn't want to open the message on "Band Members", as I knew it would be the news we were all dreading...

Rest in peace, Mick. Love you forever. We will always cherish your music.
My heart and prayers goes to his family to bring them strength and some comfort.

Since first hearing of Mick's illness last June, I felt so positive. I really thought he would beat it and would be back in action before we knew it. My thoughts are of course, with his family and friends. Feel totally gutted - it hasn't really sunk in. :(

RIP Mick. Thank you for all the beautiful memories.

I never really know what to say that's not already been said, so I'll just repeat what I said on Porcupine Tree Forum: Japan saved my life. RIP Mick, I'm forever in your debt :smt022

So horrible. I thought he was going to make it. From what I heard he was doing great. I don't know what to else to say really... Most of you have already said it.

Feeling so saddened and emotinal by this news -my sis rang me this morning to tell me. The last time we felt this sorrow was when we lost our beloved dad to cancer.

Thank you Mick for being there and getting me through my teenage years with Japan. Too self effacing and always underplaying your talent ...hopefully you realised just how much love and appreciation was directed your way by us your loyal fans whilst you were ill. Condolences to family and friends and also Steve,Rich and David should they be reading this x

Not surprising news, but horrible all the same. At least poor Mick's suffering is at an end now.

By one of life's weird coincidences, my MP3 player's shuffle function came up with his and Peter Murphy's song Dalis Car immediately before I heard the news.

My condolences to his family and many friends, including those who never got to meet him.

Really sad to hear. Despite the initial reports, I hoped he might pull through. Hopefully the MKA wont be completely over, especially if he has left his young family with some horrendous medical bills.

RIP Mick.
