Well remembered - I KNEW 24 July meant something!

Happy birthday MK - that's Mick Karn and not Milton Keynes. I was offered three days' work in Milton Keynes for a full academic year, y'know. I mean - honestly. Do these people not pay attention to where I live? Oh, I seem to have gone crazily off-topic there... where was I? :smt035 :smt031

Happy Birthday Mick!!! All the best to you.

And congratulations to Natasha. (I wonder: has anything's changed since Paul Weller wrote "Come To Milton Keynes"? )

OMG, Inky, I didn't accept it. I'd rather stick pins in my eyes, listen to Westlife on repeat and set fire to my signed copy of Flame (pun completely intended) than work in Milton Keynes.

Anyway...

I'll have to take this as a: "No, not much has changed." :-D
I'll repeat the congratulations though. These days it's not easy to get a job offer (even if it's from MK, and I mean Milton Keynes not Mick Karn), so it means there must be some good stuff beneath those scales of yours!

(Goes green with envy as he suddenly realizes: signed copy of Flame! Grrrrrrrrrrr! And even if it was a plain unsigned copy of Flame! Grrrrr grrrr!!! I only got to listen to that album because I downloaded it from the net, couldn't find it anywhere.)

Anyway, once again: happy happy birthday Mick. Counting the days to the 5th of October.

Never been to Milton Keynes, but then again I've never been to DS (Daba Shan - China), SJ (San Jose - Mexico) or RB (Rio Branco - Brazil) but you never know one day I might.

BTW did you know that there is a place in the USA called DS - (Dismal Swamp, Virginia) - ewww, wouldn't wanna come from there :smt005 - now that really is SERIOUSLY off topic

Well, thanks, Inky. I like to think I'm good at some things in life... 8)

My copy of Flame cost me £40, and that was UNsigned - I got it signed by TBo and RB at the gig on 10 July! :D
