And finally...oh yes people - we cant leave anyone out can we? :D

Oh wait - Richard didnt really change that much did he? Apart from the blue in his hair about 1980....which was nice...I suppose the fringe went up a bit to reveal those quite striking eyes although I quite liked the very long fringed look meself... :D

Man----you guys ask some difficult questions!!!!!

Okay, I am going to say the middle Rich, but really any period is hot, I just dont' care for the blue lipstick thing---reminds me too much of Robert Smith of the Cure, not that there is anything wrong with that, just that one is enough thank you. Besides, I dont' want to clean it off after I've kissed it off---lol.

Okay back to Reality.......................................................

No, know what you mean about the blue lipstick look, although at least Rich took the trouble to apply it ON his lips, unlike dear Robert.

I never really fancied Rich as much as the other three (sorry Rob, but I STILL cant really think of you as totally part of Japan ) but given the choice between him and Robert Smith i know who I would choose...*chortle*

And.......BACK to reality.... :D

Middle Rich! Adorable. :-D

Like in this picture, once you get past David and Steve (they won't let you through without a big 'ol squeeze  ), you get to shy little Rich hiding in the background:

Hmmm yeah, very nice..(Mick looks especially gorgeous on this pic, all suave and slicked back)..

Not sure about the light blue jumper though, Rob...

mmm He've always attracted me in some way...so shy and reserved...always in a second plane [...just like me  ]. I have to say I love all his looks but I love the middle look and the early one. The only tone I've dyed my hair with was that kind of Blueish black...When i first saw him I just thought "His hair looks like mine!!" I've always find him very cute :)

Yes, I know what you mean...it's that quietness which draws your attention to him standing at the back or out to the side, twiddling his knobs and working his magic...

Yes! Richard Barbieri is so cute! I don't talk about him as much as the other three- but he is actually really good looking! I pick his middle look! I love the blue streaks in his hair- adorable!

Yup, he is cute - and has a wicked pout. He always looked so fed up standing behind his keyboards.... I used to think - Oh cheer up mate, you're master of some seriously kickass equipment and you're bl**dy talented...

....but smiling was never in the Japan performance repertoire of facial expressions....

Great picture!!!! Richard looks yummy in that one and I really like it when he has that stance---arms folded, legs slightly apart and just staring at you, from across the room, drawing your eyes in, and then his lips part, and he mouths the words................

"Anne, wake up will you and snap out of it, girl!!"

whoops, sorry all---yeah, that is what he does to me

I WILL apologize for the singing though. I had that song in my head and I had to get it out of there somehow.

I was always more of a Sesame Street kid anyway......................except I hated Kermit the Frog's theme song "It's not Easy Being Green" :?
