Even with the book of non lasse images it isn't worth it to me. I'm waiting for the vinyl which I know will have a good value since Charles is behind it. I'm sure it'll be at least as nice as the foabp SE vinyl, which was awesome and worth the cash.

I'm with Krys in this one. I'd be happy to buy it if it was the Insurgentes price, but nope... that much expensive is WAY too much. My limit was 50, even 60 euro. This is 70, so nope.

I imagine this book being somehow like the FOABP SE but bigger. Would I pay that cash for something like that? No. I'm not abig fan of Lasse's stuff, way too creepy for me. And if all the pics are like the samples we've seen... I don't need it. Of course would be cool having it, the package looks great! But it's not THAT worth the cash RR is asking for it. Not for me at least. If I paid this much for it and it was all pics of people with the hand over the face... I'd be very angry!

So better investing this cash in all my gigs... there are 9 to afford, haha! ;)

If you guys want - I can make you a book of pics like that for only $20. I've loads of pics of Kayleigh like that *hands in front of face*

The subject would at least be far more interesting! :D

I'm just getting the regular pre-order with this. I decides a book of sketches from an unknown, unrelated artist just doesn't hold that much worth for me. Soz SW, but I'm with Matt on this one, much more interested in the vinyl! And nothing in this package is really enticing for me. it's not bitching, just my personal opinion. :)

I love box sets and SEs but give me something COOL - like the Portishead 3rd box set or the Riceboy Sleeps. Those were a lot cheaper too!

So it will be a gamble, but I've decided to go for it because these guys have been good companions for the past years, and this is a way for me to show them how much I appreciate their work. (The truth is that, as soon as I heard there was a deluxe edition, I threw myself on the ground, shaking all over and frothing at the mouth, crying out loud: "I WANT THAAAAAATTTT!!!")

I sort of felt that way too until I saw what was offered and for the price it was offered at and realized - I don't want it THAT much! LOL I think buying the prob 4 different versions of the album and seeing then 6 times on tour - twice in the UK - is quite enough appreciation from me! ;)

I won't be able to see them when they'll be on tour in Italy (quite close to home too ), so this is like a lollipop I'm getting instead of a ride on the merry-go-round! :D

Incidentally (get it?), unable to decide between now and tomorrow, I ordered my Deluxe edition as the clock struck midnight.

And I know I already posted this somewhere else, but... that's a darn good video proggrl.

How about the $85 (plus $22 shipping for poor me) for the DeLuxe edition of Manafon? Will that be worth it? And will I ever rise from poverty ever again? :smt089

Yes I got that - and yes - tho I adore PT - I think David's turned out to be far more worth it.

I'll ask it for Christmas! I'm looking forward to their gig here in Amsterdam. If I can afford it, I will go to more shows, which is very unlikely to happen. But I can't wait!
