Engineers and Richard Barbieri - Live in London in July

Engineers' long awaited second album, Three Fact Fader, is due to released on Kscope on July 6th.

To mark the release, the band will be playing their first live gig in over two years on July 10th at the Bush Hall in London. They will also be joined onstage by special guest Ulrich Schnauss.

In addition, Richard Barbieri (Porcupine Tree / ex-Japan) will also be performing a rare live set on what promises to be a special evening.

Tickets are available now for £13.50 (plus booking fee) from ticketweb and wegottickets.

Shazzbutt! :smt076 I'm not.
As if I wasn't feeling bad enough already because I can't go to the Porcupine Tree gig in November. :smt022

As tempting as it is - can't, will be in Lisbon. However, I've been reading the rumours on the PTF about them adding more UK dates to their 2009 tour, possibly incorporating the North West - so I'm keeping my beady eye on that, and I'm sure Fishie will be the first with any updates :-D

Sometimes I think I need to apply the chairification skills I honed on PTF over here!!!

Inky... there are four Italian dates aren't there? Can't you go to any of them? I was SOOO tempted - but then I am going to Amsterdam as well as the three British dates...

And Barbierian... come to Leeds!!! Only an hour away

No, she means Porcupine Tree are playing Leeds as part of their tour, not Rich independently but rumour has it that there will be more UK dates added as, as yet there are only 3 - London. Bristol and Leeds.

Well, this happened on Friday... and miss Nat still hasn't mentioned the fun we had! ;)

More from me tomorrow, but here's a pic of us and Mr. Barbieri. We also got to meet Mrs Barbieri, that was absolutely sweet and incredibly beautiful!

More pics and videos too! Coming soon!

Yes Kera, she was there and we all met her. I asked Richard to sign my Indigo Falls cd and he said "oh Suzanne is there, she can sign it too". So we said hello to her, introduced ourselves and chatted for a bit. She said she hopes that The Beloved Aunt project is out soon, that she will update it on myspace and facebook when she knows more. Total sweet person Suzanne, she seemed touched when I told her that Indigo Falls is a special album for me (for certain sentimental reasons ;)).

And btw, don't think we mentioned that Rihard played The Experience of Swimming! :D

Dunno, he was there and seemed friendly, so we got a pic with him :-D

Also had the luck to find there Tim Bowness (of No-Man). What a gracious guy! And he remembered us from the mini tour they made. We told him we were looking for Richard and he said "go downstairs and talk to Richard, he doesn't bite" LMAO!
