This is the clip of the event in 2008, 'HARAJUKU PERFORMANCE + (PLUS) SPECIAL'. It will be an interesting event this year too.

Thanks very much angel-a for taking the time to post all the information about those shows. They look fascinating! I'd love to be there.

You're welcome, Serotonin. I hope they would release the work in some kinds of format like DVD or maybe screening with live music by Steve in London...!?!?

Unfortunately for Steve and for all the people who were hoping to see him at the event, he was unable to fly to Japan because of the problems the weather caused at the airports in London.

... and as you mentioned, Angel-a, it would be fantastic to see him doing his shows here in the UK for a change. As he said in an interview a couple of years ago: "The Japanese are very open to putting things together, getting people to work together, and generating a buzz, and finding the money from sponsors somehow. They always find big businesses who want to invest in the arts - I wouldn't be able, here, to string together a band and a string quartet and interesting visuals and lighting. It's a very easy place to be, to work - it's all about being productive and getting things moving and having deadlines and schedules."

It is very sad that a talented British artist such as Steve is valued much more outside his own country.

Hi there...

Maybe... well surely it´s not the best moment for Steve to travel.
Better take some days off to try and cope with it all...
Then see what to do next.
