1. A Secret Life
having met during their live performance in brighton with harold budd, john foxx invited steve to record tam-tams (gongs) for a potential collaborative release. the dark tones of the tam-tams created a bed for atmospherics and acoustic piano work to be added. due to various other commitments the release seemed to be shelved until steve d'agostino (keyboardist and recording engineer) took it upon himself to complete the work. release date is set for march through metamatic/distributed by universal and will be under the artist names d'agostino/foxx/jansen.

2. Yukihiro Takahashi's new album 'Page By Page' will be out in march and features Steve Jansen on two songs.

JOHN FOXX and former JAPAN percussionist STEVE JANSEN will release their collaborative album 'A Secret Life' on March 23rd. The album was started in 2005 but put on hold until Single Cycle Recorder's Steve D'Agostino revived and completed the project. The album will be released through Foxx's Metamatic label under the name D'Agostino / Foxx / Jansen.

From Steve's site:
a quick update as news has been thin on the ground of late. over recent months steve has contributed to scottish and portuguese singer/songwriter projects as well arranging and producing music for alice in italy. most recently steve has completed mixing 4 dali's car tracks that are pending release later in the year. in the meantime new material with david sylvian is being developed as well as solo material but as yet there are no schedules for finalising or releasing new works. the live performance in tokyo last december is potentially being developed as a visual work to be available in download form.
