Has anyone had the good fortune to hear this project? Evidently, this was released last year in Japan and has not yet been released internationally or domestically. Sylvian collaborators Sakamoto and Masakatsu Takagi have also contributed tracks.

I picked it up about a month ago at Amazon.com; it's available as an import. I've only listened to it a few times since (simple lack of time) but I do like it very much - my favorite part is a cluster of 5 songs in the middle, from "Paul's Dance" to "Southern Jukebox Music." Takagi's track is very good as well. I'd have to listen to it again, closely, to comment more specifically. I think it's worth getting, if you are a fan of PCO. There's a booklet included, photos and details of each artist and recording. In the back, I think each artist talks about why they chose the track to cover and what PCO's music means to them - Steve's section is printed in English - all the rest in Japanese, so I'm guessing as to content for the other artists. Some nice photos of the contributing artists too.
