Radio Interview

Postby ZenV on Wed Nov 22, 2006 6:48 am

Hello,
It's time to listen to David's voice:

http://www.rrr.org.au/archive/audio/davidsylvian.ram

This interview is a little bit old. Some of you may already have heard it. If so, sorry about that.
The interview showed his sincerity so well, and the pleasantness of his personality. I found it very pleasant to listen to, as the DJ is quite a laid back Australian, and not at all aggressive.

Cheers, Naoko

Thanks. I haven't heard this.
It is all entirely perfect--it is as it should be.

Didn't know where to post this -
I recently re-read an interview with david with a German music mag at time of the 9 Horses release.
It's a good interview, one funny part is where dave says he wrote much of the lyrics for the album while driving around in his car !!
I guess at the traffic lights...

Well I could just as easily send you a link to an mp3 file tonight. Consider it done. Look for a PM later. ;)

yw. Yes that was a very interesting interview. ALthough I think it was edited very badly, the things Sylvian had to say were good. His whole working process, the continuation of NH, wasn't crazy about his outlook of touring, but the rest of it was great. Wonderful insight into the whole Blemish period. Really have to go back and rediscover that album (not that I ever thought it was bad).

The wonders of dial up - it took me three and a half hours to download this last night. But it was worth it!!

Great to hear interviews from the Blemish/Nine Horses era.
