Silver you will have to record some things to share with us as you get better. I want to learn guitar but i swear i am musically retarded. I can sing quite well, but for some reason each time i try to learn an instrument i normally break down crying out of frustration.

I'd like to learn guitar, too, though I basically have no skills whatsoever concerning string instruments. But my sister did play violin for a bit and I picked it up and managed to play Old MacDonald on it, so, maybe I could learn guitar! I need to become more profient in keyboard before I do that, though. I taught myself how to play it about five years ago and I'm still slow when it comes to reading bass clef! I learnt it when I was 11 but it never stuck... I'd like to play something a bit more interesting than clarinet, though if I could get my hands on some of Mick's parts in RTC, hmm, could be fun!

I know what you're talking about. In my case, I'm very good at musical theory and all that stuff, but when I pick some instrument I lost in desperation, but I think it's because I'm very impatient for some things, and i want to see results very quickly, and these things take time...

I think this is the case for me as well.... I do realize things take time but somehow i feel i haven't the inner ability there.

thanks ... his work was an influence. But, I think I'm finding my groove abit more from his music.
When I was shooting the Japanese model... when we got into the studio.. I played david's music for her... she was soooooo interested in it. So much so I gave her my burned cds so she could listen to them on her way back to Japan.

nope ... she is rather young.... so it was before her time. Even though I know they are large influences in Japan...she just hadn't heard them before at all.
