Just to apologize to recent new members if activation has been slow.

There have been problems with spammers so activation is set to manual. Various checks for authenticity are made, but sometimes it's hard to tell. Do contact me if you have problems joining and I will investigate ASAP.

Just to say, this problem is worse than ever...not helped by my having less access to my computer than normal.

Every day the forum is being bombarded by fake user signups - just had to clear 63 pages worth!

Inevitably, a small number of those may have been genuine. Please accept my apologies if that is the case - and contact me on blemished@japansylvian.com after registering and I will approve signup.

I remember the Mick Karn-forum had this problem too for a long time, but somehow http://mickkarn.proboards.com/ seems to be not interesting anymore for the fake users and spam posters. Unfortunately the fans aren't coming there either; they seem to prefer the facebook-sites, which for me is more about pictures than information.

Ok. Have had to disable new sign ups for now. Getting worse and worse in terms of spam accounts.
