I love the way he doesn't split David's work into eras: no before-this, after-that. Just the beauty of one whole, consistent body of work.

I agree, absolutely wonderful. now that's the way to write about the music you love. totally different from that pachidermic, headache-inducing Japan/Duran article on The Quietus a while ago.
