Collect Sylvian, Collect Collaborators?

Sakamoto, Fripp, Czukay et al.

I always think of YMO as bouncy, happy music. On first listen it can be deceptively simple, I think, but it has layers that you tend to hear upon further listening. It's not at all like Japan's music and the keyboards are most prominent. Yukihiro Takahashi does most of the lead vocals, usually in Japanese with the occassional English phrase or chorus. It's energetic but also subtley emotional. Don't know if that helps, lol.

Sorry, that I don't know because I never download music myself. I think you can hear samples on Amazon.

For all things Fripp related go to www.dgmlive.com

He also has a diary on that site which he updates regularly... it is a very interesting glimpse into his life, particularly when he is out touring. Last year he opened up for Porcupine Tree on several dates and he posted pics of the venues, the dressing rooms, hotel, etc. For those that aren't familiar with Fripp he has a tremendous sense of humor which is not readily apparent if you only judge him from his stage persona.

Hmmmm, I upload some Mick Karn--an ep and a couple albums, and some Sakamoto--another ep and album, and the latest Porcupine tree album. Sorry I don't have the titles but I was sleepy when I was doing all that and was out all day yesterday so I didn't get back into itunes since then.
