Sakamoto-sensei and David Sylvian have always created something great... and I hope they'll keep making usic together! ^^
And I have to thank Sakamoto if I knew David! :-)
I LOVE Forbidden Colours... (if you come here, you can hear me sing this song very often around the house... )
But generally, I love all their works!

I love their collaborations but
I do think that Riuichi is even better on Davids own works,
like Brilliant Trees and Secrets of the Beehive.
And my heart sings of many things

This morning I watched NHK TV program about Glenn Gould, and Ryuichi appeared and said some comments.
He said like,
Glenn Gould plays as if he is composer
When Ryuichi was a fifth grader (around 11 years old), he has begun to learn composition, Glenn Gould shocked him, Ryuichi sat down like Glenn Gould and played piano. :D

Yesterday I bought "Virgin Tracks" by Sakamoto (at used shop) , the sleeve says 'Cloud #9' was produced by David Sylvian / Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Sounds like David took the Vocal. Am I right?

I also have "heartbeat" album by sakamoto, but my Japanese edition album doesn't have Tainai Kaiki II and Cloud #9, import version seems contains those two tracks. :smt085

I'm not good in MP3 things, but I heard "Forbidden Colours" is bonus track for Japan (maybe not band) of 'Symphony'

Thanks. The bit where David and Ryuichi meet is beautiful.
And... is that a chopstick Steve's banging to the rhythm? :)

WOW! Thank you Waves! :D
that's what I wanted to see!!! :D
I heard David and Ryuichi hugged each other, (that's lovely! :D ) and I wanted to see what kind of rucksack David had :-D

but I feel these days, Fennesz become closer to Ryuichi than David...
jealous?

so your saying that forbidden colours is a bonus track on this cd? It isn't listed anywhere... I've been looking for this for a while now. Sarah Brightman's version that is.....

Ok I figured it out... this is only available on the Japanese Import of the cd. So any Japanese fans out there who may want to try looking for this on the Japanese version of iTunes for me?
