2.) World Citizen/I won't be disappointed (long version)- On this song i can't explain what this song means to me
3.) Messenger
4.) Ti Ho Aspettato

No order:
1. For the Love of Life w/ Haishima - love the lyrics
2. Transit w/ Fennesz - absolute sadness
3. Buoy w/ Karn - I sometimes wonder if this song wasn't about Mick in some way
4. Heartbeat w/ Sakamoto - "boom, boom boom" *thud*
5. This is Not Enough w/ Sandii & the Sunsetz - like the sexiness of it

There's a Japanese anime (TV series) called "Monster" for which David wrote and sings on the theme song, a beautiful ballad. The soundtrack for this anime is available on Amazon, the remainder of it is instrumental. Seems David is an anime and manga (Japanese cartoon graphic novel) fan.

oh thank you... i had read about this music i just never went and searched it out. I'm not big on japanese anime.... I'm more into fairies and such... however as a kid i got really into the Elfquest series... not sure what genre that falls under though.

"Monster" was originally a manga, a medical thriller; that is also now being released in the States, the first two volumes are already available.

I love fantasy fiction, never got into Elfquest but enjoyed Pier Anthony's Xanth series, Roger Zelazney, Marian Zimmerman Bradley, Terry Brooks; a lot of that type of writing.

I loved Marion Zimmer Bradley's book Mists of Avalon... it was required reading at my college for a women's study class. I didn't take the class but I saw the book in the bookstore so I bought it. I'm totally enthralled by the arthurian legend as well as avalonian mythologies.
I never could seem to get into any of her other novel's though. I read a couple after Mists, but didn't enjoy them nearly as much.

Another tough one:

1. Sylvian/Fripp - The First Day tour, Japan, March 1992
I went to three shows on this tour (I was living in Tokyo at the time); each show was almost a religious experience. The March 7 concert at Shibuya Kokaido was the highlight.

2. Sylvian/Sakamoto - Heartbeat

3. Sylvian/Czukay - Flux
The Flux + Mutability disc flowed much better than did Plight & Premonition. Very calming.

4. Sylvian/Russell Mills - Ember Glance
I was lucky enough to see the installation on its next-to-last day. This was probably the first art exhibition that I felt I understood. And the music created an atmosphere in which everything seemed to move at a much slower pace. When I left after what I thought had been a couple of hours, I was surprised to find that it had actually been just under one hour!

5. Tweaker - Linoleum

@lenbob.... very envious of your sylvian musical and art experiences. I would have loved to have seen the installation... oh woe is me to always be stuck in the usa... LOL

1. Forbidden Colours - magic in musical form
2. Exit/Delete - beautiful
3. Linoleum - I absolutely agree with godisinthesilence: HOT
4. Messenger - haunting
5. Ti Ho Aspettato - not my favourite, but thanks to that collaboration I got to know Andrea Chimenti and some other italian musicians whose work is totally different from mainstream italian music, i.e. it's decent! (btw Steve Jansen plays on Chimenti's latest album 'Vietato Morire')
