Received a mail from Burning Shed at 2.54 pm offering "An ultra-rare cassette capturing a mixing desk recording of a powerful Steve Jansen and Richard Barbieri performance from November, 1996.
Also featuring Mick Karn (on bass and saxophone) and Steven Wilson (on guitar).
Please note: We have very few copies of this rare item, and expect it to sell out very quickly."
At 7.37 pm, when I read it and hastily clicked on the link, it was sold out.

Hi

I bought this cassette at the time of release from Medium Productions.
It is indeed a very strong and clear live stereo recording straight from the
mixing console.

As the inner sleeve states...'This is live stereo recording,The various instrument levels
were determined by the live sound engineer at the time of the performance'.
In a nutshell a true 'live recording'

Side 1
Sleepers awake
When things dream
Lumen

Side 2
The night gives birth
Long tales, Tall shadows
Beginning to melt

If its allowed i can do you a copy of the tape. Just PM me

Yeah happened to me too, it was gone when I clicked the link (did they have just 2 on sale or something?)

Ah well... next time! Wish there was a cd (or even mp3s) of it!
