Duncan Sheik's cover of Orpheus

Talk about anything David Sylvian related.

Duncan Sheik's cover of Orpheus

Although I noticed the cover Duncan Sheik did of David's Opheus on his Humming Along promotional mini-album, I think it's nice to give it a thread of its own.

Here's the youtube.

I finally managed to buy the promo and it came from Hong Kong!

Duncan had at this early point in his carreer a somewhat lazy sounding voice, which suits these songs well.

Like most covers I don't care for it. Can't touch Sylvian, but thanks for sharing. :)

I beg to differ. I like it. It reminds me a little of Nick Drake. It's nice to hear stripped back version of this. No one CAN touch Sylvian but I don't think he's trying to with this cover.

Thanks for sharing...neither cover does much for me, but cool to hear.
