09.02.07: soundtracks and compilations
There have been a number of cds released recently featuring david's compositions. Air's LateNightTales selection featured 'Ghosts'. The next in the series released on Feb 5th 07 is a selection by the French collective Nouvelle Vague and includes 'A fire in the forest' from the 'Blemish' album. There's the previously reported inclusion of 'World Citizen' on the Babel soundtrack, and the Nine Horses' track 'The Banality of Evil' from 'Snow Borne Sorrow' will appear in the forthcoming Joel Schumacher film 'The Number 23' starring Jim Carrey released, as coincidence would have it, on david's birthday, Feb 23rd.

09.02.07: When loud weather buffeted Naoshima
David has just completed a final mix of the composition commissioned by the Naoshima Fukutake Art Museum Foundation for their Standard 2 festival 06/07. This will be released on the samadhisound label in a limited edition within the coming months. The ensemble includes Clive Bell, Christian Fennesz, Arve Henriksen, and Akira Rabelais. This material will not be available as a download. More news on this item later this month.
