Latest David Sighting

Postby krausy on Sat Aug 19, 2006 9:45 pm

Someone at Japan Pioneers wrote today that they were at a bookstore in Oxford this afternoon and saw David with one of the daughters and Yuka. The person did not approach him though. Said David was wearing a hat and has a goatee again.

I should BE sooooo lucky!!!

I know! I read that, and i thought i wouldnt care if his daughter were there or not! Guessing we would be around the same age. I would have at least said Hi or something.

Yeah, I can understand their reason, but if you make eye contact (which in this case I don't know whether that occured or not) it kinda gives you a free ticket to at least say hello, that's the way I feel anyway. Anything beyond that may be inappropo.

True. But I dont even think I could even say Hi anyway. I am terribly shy and dont think I'd have the guts to do it.

I read that too, but wasn't convinced of its validity. Maybe I'm just too cynical.

Wow... WOW... If I saw him within like a freakin' mile of me... I WOULD NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO!! I would probably try to be nonchalant... And fail miserably!!

I read it too. I can understand that point. I probably won't be able to do or say anything to him!!! Or at least, to say anything without looking ridiculous...

that's cool... i missed that. I don't think I could go up to someone in that situation either. I mean its like going up to a stranger in general and just gushing over them.... it has to get old really fast for the person dealing with it. Of course, he is a public persona, but still they need their private time in public as well.

Of course!! Though, I may just muster up the courage to say "Hello" and maybe smile... If I was lucky he may say hi back... Then I would go home and lose it... "Oh my gawd, David Sylvian... ACKNOWLEDGED MY EXISTANCE!" *Faints*

... Maybe in my dreams!

Kera, if DS ever met you he'd be like "Hey, who put this mirror here?!?"

LOL

LMAO!!! That's perfect! Except for the gender/20 years difference! :-D

But the hair would give me away, as soon as I would make eye-contact with him, he'd flee...

... I guess that's what I get for copying my hero !!! :smt086
