Does anyone know if there will be anything on davidsylvian.net in the future? The opening page says "Look for new content here soon" but that's been there for months. I really miss the resource badly and was just wondering if anyone knew what was going on.

from my understanding of statements made by Gerrett he decided to move on. So the site is officially closed. Nothing new will be added. Perhaps that front page will feature any new cds david puts out, but other than that the site is closed down for good.

So, happy we have this site as a resource :-)

Well, I guess that means I'll have to keep using the Wayback Machine when I want to find something that was on that site. Bummer.

LOL about the Wayback Machine! That was from a cartoon, Mr. Peabody (a genius scientist dog) and his 'boy' Sherman. The would enter the wayback machine and travel back in time to meet historic personages; the meeting would result in the answer to some scientific question. A very old cartoon and a good one.

The Wayback Machine is www.archive.org. It's just what it sounds like, an archive of various websites from various time periods. Using it, I can still find most of the content from davidsylvian.net (unfortunately, most of the pictures are not included).

Oh goody - I might try and find FetaFunk...Mick's unofficial (I think) website...which, much to my annoyance, has shut down.

LOL! Told you I was an oldie, I didn't know the wayback machine meant anything else! Good to know about that website, thanks!

FetaFunk was a good site, pity about that.

Davidsylvian.net was a fan site that closed quite a while ago. His official site, davidsylvian.com is alive and well, although not updated very frequently. Steve's been updating his portion of the the samadhisound.com site a lot in the last couple of months.
