:) Yes, I know that's what he means. I was just being facetious. I don't think there's anything wrong with taht sort of use of metonymy - Shakespeare does similar things - and I think it's a great line. But tallulahtaurus's post did make me laugh all the same.

Totally goes to show the literal worth of grammar sometimes, I guess because to me a blade doesn't multiply if you're stabbed twice by it, to me it's still just one.
