 ha ha soooo easy to wind up you durannies....
well you can all duff me up on the 14th carntcha...I'm a wimp
As far as I remember, and maybe somebody else can verify, around the time Quiet Life came out ( the first time) there were some photos of Dave wearing one glove ( black leather, lace or velvet i can't recall ) and it was mentioned in gig reviews that a lot of people in the audience did the same. Also there was a very trendy young guy who had the most gorgeous expensive clothes in my street and I saw him one night getting into his car all dressed up and lo he was of the glove numerical number uno! So you can imagine, not only did I have a crush on him, but now he had me in a lather wondering if he was a Japan fan. Or had he just lost a glove? We'll never know. Cos I was too chicken to ask him.

So there... ;-)

Dee - you are indeed a big softie! Mind you as a teenager, I wouldn't have had the courage to ask my crush anything at all! I have no recollection whatsoever of the David mono-glove syndrome. Must have bypassed my style detectors! I was obviously way too busy drooling over Nick Rhodes *sigh*

I think we're on about 12 so far - the real 'push' I reckon will begin this weekend with bulletins posted everywhere - OK, except for where I work

OK, the 'push' is starting... right now!

REALLY BIG BUMP!

If you would like to come and haven't expressed an interest so far, please do let us know for Astronaut's restaurant booking purposes!

I think it will be a good idea to post a list of who's coming this time next week so that we know who to expect, and in fact I think it's such a good idea that that's exactly what I'm going to do

Oooops! Sorry Auntie Natasha - I'll behave myself whilst I'm in your company - honestly! Hee-hee!

OK - seriously folks I've been looking into the restaurant situation and the reviews I've seen for the Japancentre are not good at all. General consenus is that it's very overpriced and they now have a 12.5% service charge too. Average price for diiner for 2 was about 60 pounds! Ryo also gets the thumbs down as it was considered "dirty" they don't accept credit/debit cards, and you have to decide what you want and pay for it before you sit down - not terribly convenient for a large group, so I think we should scrap those 2. Since we want to stay in the area of Piccadilly tube/Tottenham Ct Rd how about one of these:

BTW: Bookings not accepted at some of these places. Just a case of turning up ...
