David's posted new photographs, interesting as always. I particularly like "hygiene", "precision" and "tears."

Bridget, yes that is Sylvian although I don't recognise the print I wondered as a few of the photographs are obviously taken at a seaside location in England whether it was his parents home

'Control', 'The Morning After' and 'Wrong Headed' are my particular faves from album#13!!! I agree Bern, it is so obviously the British seaside at it's best - in the winter. My parents have retired to the coast and these photos remind me so much of that area. I don't quite understand the need people have to retire to the seaside - what is that all about??? I'd also say, judging by the style of interior decor, some of the photos were taken during a visit to 'older' relatives/friends. :-D

I too have always been fascinated by why we all trek to the Sea on a nice day and sit and stare at it from deckchairs or cars or cafes after all it doesn't change, maybe it's something primeval and the older you get maybe the constancy and routine appeals

Yes, maybe it is some primeval thing going on, or just the need for open space and fresh air after 30 plus years spent working inside offices, factories and so on. Who knows? There's obviously some allure that I'm not aware of yet - give it another 20 years and I'll probably be rushing out to buy myself a bungalow, a thermus flask and a set of deckchairs!!!

Look's like Dave went to visit his dear old mum and dad, from the photos. At least it seems to me. I like 'Resident'. Very witty...

LOL! oh yuk! No, because you always end up with a load of sand in them and hmm, makes things a bit too crunchy! Anyway, whats the point of going to the British seaside if you don't stuff your face with fish 'n' chips??? :-D I wonder if dear old David allows himself to indulge in a few fish 'n' chips? Can't imagine that somehow!!!

hhmm not sure this series is as strong as some of his others. I think towards the end they become stronger. Untitled 2, temptation, morning after, tears, the gardener and wrong headed are amongst my favourites. Really really like those.
