Thank you! I'm glad that you captured out the "feeling" in what I have written. I am still a little shocked by the experience and even my daughter, who is 9, earlier said to me: - mom, why are you sad? You saw David Sylvian! You should be the happiest person on earth!- and I think she's right....

Apparently the Brussels and Paris show is out there already... however it seems to be available only in torrent format. Which to be honest I'm way to dumb to figure out.
Does anyone on here have those shows in mp3 format???

The glasgow show is available as mp3 format. It is slightly quiet but not terrible. I hear the other shows are much clearer....

ANYONE???? HHHHEEELLLPPP

I couldn't find the Brussels or Paris shows, if you have a link, I will happily download the torrent and upload them for you.

Well that sounds really cool. Glad somebody got David to smile at least!!!

Yeah, white shoes after Labor Day---not very fashionista of him!!

Did he like his flowers? How was his voice?

He sang Wanderlust(melting in my computer chair........then passing out)

I am impressed with the set list---I bet he shakes it up a bit down the road though.

But what about Steve----bet he was looking tasty too!!!!!

What instruments did David play?

And whoever has video---post it on YouTube or wherever because I just gotta see it baby!!!!!! :-D

THanks for the report so far.

Hi Krausy,

I hope you didn't think I'd forgotten my promise about the Programme; I have it here for you. :P

I almost didn't make the gig!! My Father had a bit of nasty fall and I had to rush off to Scotland the following morning.

I only arrived after they had come on stage. Once I calmed down a little I throughly enjoyed the set and despite what some of the posts on various sites are saying about the set list and sound, trust me the band were fabulous. Theo Travis was wonderful, well they all were. I so hope they tour the States at some point, there is nothing like hearing an artist live.

I am still caught up in the 'Family' thing at present and as soon as I get more time I will post my 'thoughts' on the gig.

If you PM me an address either work or home, I will get the package off to you as soon as I can :D

thank you i was able to find the other two shows not in torrent. Why is torrent used anyway??? i mean seems it would be easier if it was all just mp3d. Or is the quality better or something???

Torrents usually use a lossless format like flac, so yes it is better quality as a rule

Hello

so sorry to post only now but after the show : I'm leaving in LOndon for 3 days!!!

Bridget : It was great to meet you!!!!
So you saw david or not ?

It was a wonderful show...
I never saw Japan or David on his own before and it was a very very good show...

I took some pictures : I gonna put them on the gallery...
I've got an article in the newspaper too... I have to upload it...

So good surprised : I defenetively love his voice... it's so good to hear someone like him...

It was too short for my advice but maybe you could have some others shows in the future...

I made a video : but it's too big : so if someone could tell me how to do ?
I try youtube and photobucket... but it doesn't work... :(

Ok ... just feeling sort of ... disapppointed.

All the video footage from the shows ... its all great people are recording and sharing.

Here is my complaint.... it is the DAVID SYLVIAN tour. I want to see SOMEONE ... ANYONE... zoom in on him. I am not interested in the stage.... I could care less about the other people on the stage with him (yes i assume now i'm going to get told off for that...I don't care i'm a sylvian fan not a lowe fan). I don't care what the stage looks like...already seen photos of the stage layout and lighting.

If anyone reads this that is going to the shows and planning to do video can you please please please zoom on david so we can actually see him singing/performing and the way in which he may or may not be emoting during the music. PLEASE I"M BEGGING!!!!

I'll second that!

And hopefully his brother will post some pics of David soon! *Pssst, David, hand the camera over to Steve*

You've got to remember that most people shooting the video clips at shows are doing it on a cameraphone or a crappy digital still camera. The ability to zoom in often isn't even there. Unless they are in the front couple of rows they aren't going to capture much of any worth. If they are in the front couple of rows the audio will probably be overloaded, and there is far more chance of being spotted by security.

Someone somewhere probably has some better footage, but they are probably planning their ebay release as we speak.

HA HA good point.... and if that is the case no one will probably get the chance to get it... LOL

Oh well I just needed to vent cause i don't see it as worth seeing the videos from miles back. Seems a waste of a concert to record it from that far back ..... I'd rather enjoy the show than worry about whether i'm getting a crap video of it. Just my two cents :-)

not to mention how annoying it is to sit next to someone who is trying to figure out how the f**k his/hers camera is working....
ok, i shouldn't complain, i've seen the man, but it must be even more annoying for those on stage with the constant flashlights.
