Thank you Proggrl for the info. :D

Any chance you will be at the Virginia show? I may be able to catch this one, but not sure as of yet---will have to check on a couple things.

:? Unfortunately not. :( This one just got announced and I already had my plans made - I'm flying out of Boston that day, so there's no way I'd be able to pull off another show. :smt022 As much as I'd love to be able to and as sad as I'll be to see the party end..... there's just no way I can fit that one in.

And no prob for the info - Glad to spread the word (like wildfire! - No, not the Michael Murphy song!)

Well this is just a mini tour to support the release of the DVD (which is now available for pre-order here). Next year they should be doing a full out tour to support the new album (also due out next year).

Krausy, if you can make the VA show, the first half they are playing all new material.

To complete the tour listings, since Sonic missed the VA date, but also to bring it to this thread....

Disc one is a full show from the Deadwing tour filmed at Park West, Chicago in Oct 2005, edited by Lasse Hoile, with the soundtrack mixed in stereo and 5.1 surround sound by SW, and mastered by Darcy Proper (who mastered the award winning PT DVDAs). Disc two includes bonus live performances of Futile and Radioactive Toy from German TV show Rockpalast, the Lazarus promo clip, the live films used during the show for Start of Something Beautiful, Halo, and Mother and Child Divided, Gavin Harrison's "Cymbal Song" (also in 5.1 sound), and a photo gallery with well over 100 images.

Why do I have to be poor now?

Well, who am I kidding... the Virginia show is the closest one and that's still a fifteen hour drive.

Arriving Somewhere

Postby gokartmozart on Thu Nov 16, 2006 9:33 pm

Just got Arriving Somewhere and really enjoy the music. 1st time experiencing the band.

Very different from Japan obviously, but similar IMHO to Sylvian/Fripp prog-stuff. If you liked Damage, you will probably like this live DVD sounds.
