Dang----we ALL did the same crap growing up!!!!! It is sooo funny to hear all of this coming out from people living a whole or half continent(or several continents and a big pond) away---shows how much we really are alike when it comes down to it.

Oh yeah, I was gonna grow up and move to California and marry Shaun Cassidy!!!! Before that it was Randolph Mantooth who was sooo good looking to me I could hardly look at him---made me feel funny inside, and at age 8 I just wasn't ready to deal with all that!!!!


We played Wonder Woman too, and The Waltons--taking turns being the different children---hee hee , so funny to remember all of this!!!!

Then of course there's the time I pretended to be a figure skater, sliding along the bare floor in my slippers, and promptly busting my upper lip when I fell

I used to pretend to be a horse, because I was really into showjumping. Im sorry to say that when I was 9 years old neither David nor Shaun Cassidy crossed my radar, only horses.

ha ha... there were these two sisters at my school who did nothing on play ground but pretend they were horses... HA HA.... we thought they were nuts, but they were just really into horses....

Yes, D*mn hot, but it seems more people than would care to admit actually LOVE the really early look.

I enjoy the early look cause he played up the "mask" so well. But, still love his more intellectual approach later on... 81/82

I can honestly say I love all his looks; I can find something appealing in all of them.. He is such the Chameleon though. And I know he hates this, but he really is beautiful, although I use gorgeous so as to not offend him--lol.

I know he is very uptight about people making a big deal over his looks, but honestly there is nothing wrong with being a physically attractive person. I believe entirely that when you have a good inside and a good outside there is a radiance exuded that doesn't happen from just outer beauty alone. I find him to glow... there is just something unearthly about him.

I know. And what I find soooo ironic is how uptight he is, yet all those years he took those pics with the poses and the pouts, as if no one would take notice of THAT!! I know it was probably the moneymen's doing, and you find yourself in a catch--22, so it was not as simple as saying I refuse to do pics, as he would probably find himself on the sidewalk again with no deal, no money, no nothing.

Like we have talked about before, it is a means to an end, and a necessary step to get to do what you REALLY want to do.

As he's said before he was quite lucky that virgin let him go on as long as they did doing his own thing. He made some wonderful contributions to alternative styles of music due in large part to having people in his corner. I am so pleased though that he has been able to create his own label and do more types of work he is interested in. I hope the 9 horses project continues into a 2nd cd... a 3rd and so on.
